Aroi - Asian Fusion restaurant

"Our visit to Aroi was honestly something special. It’s safe to say I’m not the biggest fan of Thai food but I absolutely enjoyed everything I had. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us to our table and service was very quick and efficient. We started off with Crackers and Vegetable Gyoza. I thought the crackers were amazing and pairing them with Chilli Dip was a great idea. Couldn’t get enough of it! We didn’t have to wait too long for our mains: Pad Thai and Green Curry and I found mine to be really delicious and though I absolutely could have eaten more the portion size was absolutely fine. My partner thought his green curry was OK apart from the fact he thought it was a little too salty. Altogether the price came to €65 which was very reasonable for a meal for two people. I’d visit again but I don’t think we’ll be back to Kilkenny any time soon."

"Very special and well-kept place. The helpful and kind staff including some Sardinian boys with whom you can exchange a few words in Italian. As for the food, curry and many other dishes are very spicy. I took a vegetable one with tofu, potatoes, carrots and the cream was with lime so a little bitter and it was less spicy. The menu is rich, there is a lot of choice. I took simple brownies for dessert but there is also homemade ice cream. The bathroom was clean, well-kept, only good smells."

"The food was delicious. Dishes were tasty and a little spicy but just to my taste ! It was cooked by the Malaysian chef and her team so it was really authentic. Cocktails were good and beautiful as well. The place is elegantly decorated and trendy and the staff is THE NICEST. Thank you for such a great experience !"

"We visited Aroi tonight. What a beautiful restaurant. The menu was fab and the atmosphere here was fab.. buzzing for a Tuesday night. We were celebrating 2 birthdays and we had a fab night. Food was so good and the cocktails were amazing ... we will be back"
