Langtons Hotel Kilkenny

"Fantastic place! Great location. It is gorgeous and the team there are great! Was there for my Cousins wedding! What a venue for a wedding! FAB! The only slight downside of the hotel is the wedding was at 2, check-in was 4. Had to spend a couple of hours driving in what I was wearing to the wedding so it was very wrinkled. It took me a half hour during the wedding to check-in. Lastly, no elevators to rooms, lots of stairs. But those did not affect my opinion of how fabulous a place it is! Can't wait to go back!"

"We attended a wedding in Langtons and from the moment we arrived, everything was super. The staff were so friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and so warm and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend and hopefully will be back again!"

"Hotel itself is lovely, we stayed in the John street suite and it was so nice. But the food in the hotel was awful, we ate in the bar, the food came out within 5 minutes after we ordered, which was way to quick, my burger was also burnt, it was definitely not worth €18.50. We then filled out a form so that we could receive breakfast to our room, The sign was never taken off the door so I rang reception to tell them, they said they would send someone up with the breakfast, but even after that we still received no breakfast and had to go down to the restaurant to get breakfast, i said it to the staff and they said they never heard anything. I think the hotel has amazing potential, they just need to get a few things in check first."

"The staff are very efficient ,helpful and pleasant. Dinner was excellent. Was given a free up grade and was very excited to see a bath in the room,as no longer have one at home. Was really looking forward to having one,but could not get the plug out of side ,so could not use it. The bathroom door does not close,but didn't matter as was on my own. The bed was so comfortable . The hotel is located very centrally."

"Excellent staff, very friendly and efficient. The bar is great, there was a couple of lads singing on the Sunday night. They were very enjoyable to listen to. Hotel is spotless and food is delicious. We had dinner on 2 nights, great choice and both were gorgeous. Breakfast is excellent. Will definitely return."
