"Great place for a walk. Well looked after paths. Toilets are usually open at the Heritage Centre - they were very clean."
"Good paths that stay dry in the winter for when your out with the dogs. Lots of different paths to choice and all not to difficult quite flat most of the way on them. Good parking with plenty of spaces. Picnic tables available in the summer to use but no public toilets to use or any other facilities like coffee shop or snack shop available."
"I haven't been down Apedale for a few years so decided to go and have a walk around to see what's changed and what a surprise I got ( in a good way ) the walk was well worth it . The heritage centre was open and steam trains were running also a well stocked cafe , amazing to see such trains been well looked after and running with passengers on board. Walk around Apedale itself was lovely but must admit I didn't go all the way around, but I will soon . I could carry on talking about this lovely place. Dog friendly and also a great place to take the kids . Plenty to see & do ."
"Area of nature trails, mixed with wooded copses taking you up and around the park ideal for getting out into the local countryside to enjoy the views across Staffordshire whilst walking the dogs , plenty of space for them to run free safely."
"It's a good place for a walk or bikeride. Carpark was free and easy to find. There are toilets which is always handy. Not been to the free museum but we had a cuppa tea, flapjacks and an oatcake from the cafe which was nice after a walk."
