"My girls are first time swimmers and since starting with s4 swim school in September they have grown in confidence in the water and also made lots of improvements and are learning new skills to help them to learn to swim. My girls love their lessons on a Friday and all coaches are patient and friendly with all the children."

"We’ve been attending for 4 weeks now and the lessons have been brilliant, aryiahs confidence has doubled since starting. We enrolled because we want her to learn to swim, safely and confidently…not to float/be aided with arm bands or to have us in with her. They have fun and are in a safe environment. Unlike other lessons we’ve tried before, she doesn’t lose interest half way through and she gets excited telling us About the little exercises they do at the end of class, picking up the rings from the bottom of the pool, blowing bubbles etc. The staff are friendly and helpful, they seem to interact well with the kids and ever are always plenty around, In and out of the pool! Highly recommend these classes. Daughter aged 5 - previous experience as basic/aided swimmer."

"Awful experience with this swim school. Booked my 4 year old her first swim lessons with S4 swim school based at blythe bridge high school. It was advertised online all swimming aids would be provided. On her first lesson it was advised swimming aids are not provided. They did provide a pool noodle however this was not attatched to a child and not enough to keep a child afloat. Instructors were on hand to support the children from oneside of the pool to the other however when the instructor moved onto another child my daughter had to cling on to the side of the pool trying to stay afloat. The pool in the shallow end was 1.6 metres deep and went to 2.8 metres deep. My daughter was petrified and was pulled out of the pool to stop any distress. Not happy about her first lesson we brought our own swimming disks for her next lesson to support her in becoming confident in the water. To my amazement I was advised by the Franchise owner he would not allow my daughter to swim whilst wearing the bands as it was against his philosophy. Please be aware when booking with this swim school the methods of teaching is to survive in the water straight away without aids so not suitable for first time swimmers."
