"What a great place to visit. Great beer and wine selection. Good pricing compared to what else is around. Food quality is really good, so much so that they are mostly very busy and I would suggest making a booking. It has a really nice outside seating area with amazing river view. I would most definitely suggest going here to friends and family."

"I got such a friendly welcome from the team when I arrived later in the evening after a long drive. Everyone was so chatty and the service was great when I had my evening meal and in the morning. Highly recommend as it was immaculately clean, the room was fabulous and very comfortable. 5 stars all round."

"We booked the room with the four poster bed for our pre Christmas weekend away, and decided to also book the Christmas menu. The room was fantastic, the bed was super comfy, shower hot and powerful. The only downside is that there is no internal access to the pub, you have to go outside a short way. Minor issue though. Meal was lovely, no complaints at all. Service from everyone was great but the young lady who worked both Saturday night and Sunday morning was particularly praiseworthy as she was still smiling and happy even while doing breakfast service and checkout on her own. We didn't get to see all of Shrewsbury so will return in the summer and will again book room 6. Thank you to the team"

"Went for lunch. Great menu and reasonably priced . Food great. Would definitely recommend and go back again. If you vape or smoke don't get caught out like me. The signs on the back patio are very small warning it no smoking area. However there is a great area under cover down the steps. All in all a fabulous lunch with River views"
