"The pub is set in the most picturesque village, and beautifully presented. We were greeted quickly and taken to our table. The Christmas menu was very reasonable and overall the food was excellent. My only complaint was that the gravy quantity was a bit stingy. I'd go back for sure and thoroughly enjoyed my evening"

"Service was quick and friendly, but 3 stars due to the chicken salad not coming with chicken (?!)... Took a good 10 minutes for another to come out meaning the others had to eat first as theirs was going cold. Also asked for tap water but was charged £4 for a bottle of water. They did knock it off when we said we ordered tap water (the table next to us got a jug of tap water when they asked) but found that a bit sneaky. Lovely inside the restaurant but unfortunately won't be rushing back due to the 2 incidents above."
