"Good room prices. A bit out of the way but OK for a break. Manager was sound but the other younger staff seemed to lack experience unfortunately and missed simple things that would normally and reasonably expected in a bar restaurant."
"Booked as a last minute getaway the same day, just the most amazing little gem of a place. The pub is real traditional old log fire place that's really welcoming. Bar staff and hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was very homely and well appointed with all the usual nice touches. Pub food was excellent and the breakfast, see for yourself! Value for money was exceptional. Places like this deserve to thrive and be supported. We will be back. Thank you!"
"Do not go here!! They messed up our order and the food came out very sloppy looking. You have to wait a very long time for average food and we were overcharged. When inquiring, the people working there claimed to 'not know how to print a receipt', the manager was nowhere to be found and the staff weren't particularly nice. The menu is very limited, and kids meals are stated to be 50% off the adult portion in big letters at the bottom of the menu, however we were charged pretty much the same amount as an adult portion. Would not recommend this place at all unless you want bad food for ridiculous prices."
"A romantic trip away for the night. Clean and comfortable room with a large bed. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Both the evening meal and the breakfast were delicious and the staff were very attentive"
