Adventure 001 Helicopters Ireland

"Update as on 6-Apr-2023: Once again, my helicopter ride on 9-Apr-23 has been cancelled citing the reason "Technical Failure"...once again. They don't understand that it is bloody their responsibility to ensure that the helicopter is in working condition...They are theives...DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY...DO NOT BOOK. Same excuse over & over again. Why don't they refund. It is not my fault if their helicopter is not ready time & again! -------------------------------------------------------- I booked a 10km helicopter ride for my daughter's 13th birthday & she has turned 16 this year & I still haven't been able to get my helicopter ride. Everytime the ride is cancelled due to some or the other reason. This time was the best one - "there is a mechanical issue with the helicopter" because they could not use the excuse of the weather since it was clear skies with sun all around! They also would not give a refund & the worst part is that my voucher will expire in 2025 which means even though I am not at fault, I am going to lose my money. Absolutely horrible! My point is WHY can't you refund, at least that is in your control. It is not weather or Pilot decision! I WANT MY REFUND!!"

"Do not under any circumstances book with this company , Please read all the reviews and proceed with caution, I am two and a half years now being told every kind of excuse as to why my booking cant proceed from Helicopter mechanical issues on several occasions , to air traffic control told us we cant fly from your location pushing locations further from the nearest site , to locations several hours drive away, they cant be contacted at all , they wont offer refunds for any reason or give you the option to upgrade for more money, over all horrible experience and would not recommend. This company and advert should be removed from any promotional sites as they are just con artists."

"I booked a helicopter ride for a certain day with a voucher. They said there was a fault with the helicopter so I couldn’t go that day and had to pay extra to extend the voucher. They then told me I had to pay extra to book a different day. This is a scam. Don’t book"

"I've flown over Waterford twice now with Adventure experiences 001 and it was absolutely incredible during the summer and even more magical this Christmas! Obviously if you book a helicopter flight in Ireland there's a very good chance it could be rescheduled any time of year since our weather is known to be rain more than sun! The weather unfortunately put a stop to our original date but the team were exceptional, kept in contact and were very fast to reschedule and added extra dates to ensure we made our flight before Christmas which is very much appreciated giving the Irish wether. Flying with Santa was a once in a lifetime experience my son will never forget and the elves were amazing helpers too! Thanks so much! Looking forward to our next flight already!"

"It's a SCAM - be careful! These guys take your money and cancel experience last minute they are absolute cowboys!! Any advice on how to get money back is appreciated!"
