"It is a big, free car park in the Phoenix Park, however not big enough due to its location in close proximity to the Dublin Zoo. However, on the Saturday we were there, there was staff there guiding cars to the overflow area on grass beside the car park. That's a good service especially given that it is free."
"Free car park, what more do you need! We booked an early slot at the Zoo so had no issue with parking but when we left at lunch time the car park seemed full, so be prepared! The car park is gravel but it seemed like there was an overflow onto the grass being used. Just a note, there is no sign post to the zoo, so you may get a little confused like we did! If you're standing at the entrance to the car park, looking away from the car park, turn right, walk to the main road, and turn left. The next road on your left and you'll see the tea rooms opposite and signs for the zoo on your left."
"There is not a single sign to tell you which way you should start walk to get to the entrance. Also it is quite a walk away from the entrance. The car exit route is very narrow in the bend. It'd be good if the zoo introduced at least an exit only gate from the zoo near the car park so at least you wouldn't have to walk that much on the way out."
"Lovely place to monkey around ...!!!"
"Ideal for Zoo.Get there before 11 as it could be full.Well laid out, plenty of space unlike some carparks."
