Reviews
"The lake view was lovely but our stay was not!! To be brief with my review, we found a dead bird covered in flies under our bed on the first night, we did not have access to hot water our entire stay, we found 6/7 wasps in the bedroom in December which is unusual and is probably linked to a wasp nest. The owner dealing with these issues was not helpful, very rude and unprofessional, so we cut our stay short and stayed in a Premier in which was lovely, clean and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly! The experience with langmere lakes was shocking to say the least, but we had a lovely stay in the premier in!! (Norwich broadlands A47 hotel)"
"We booked through Hoseasons who did not give us key collection, codes or check in details and were impossible to contact. We contacted Langmere Lakes directly to help us and Mark got back to us very quickly and efficiently with all the details we needed for our stay. We stayed in the Teal lodge. The lodge itself is tranquil, quiet and very private. It comes well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would have liked a blind on the kitchen window. There was also a few flies in the kitchen and the lodge a bit dusty, but overall a really enjoyable stay!"
"Bittern Lodge was nice, a good location and plenty of places to visit nearby. A few complaints, the fridge and freezer are pointless, they don't get cold, the lodge wasn't cleaned 100%, ashtray still full, and cobwebs. But overall a nice week."
"booked Kingfisher lodge ( no pictures of this lodge inside or out on any of the booking websites) the lodge (actually a log cabin) is tired , dilapidated , ripped seats in kitchen , dirty carpets, greasy kitchen cupboards , bathroom in need of renewal and there is a problem with wasps in the lodge ( its November 2019 , we never had any windows open and had to deal with 10 wasps in 3 days.) there is a mezzanine storage area above the kitchen that the owner is using to store old mattress's and duvets so it was pretty awful having to look at them when we were in the living area ...we would have complained on arrival about the very poor condition of the lodge ..but there was no -one on reception when we arrived (all locked up ) .it was 5pm , it was dark and we had just driven for 6 hours and wanted to rest up ...the problem with the wasps put the top hat on it and we asked to be moved . the owner was OK and moved us into the far nicer and superior Bittern lodge ( Bittern and teal lake view are the only ones you will find pictures of on any of the booking sites) . the park is well kept , great location but unless Kingfisher lodge is renovated ,and the ugly overhead storage cleared out and wasp problem sorted ..do not book this lodge"
"Really lovely view of the lake and a peaceful place to be. Initially liked the cabin we were in but didn't even make it one night staying there (of a 4 night stay) due to two massive spiders being in the bedroom on the first night and feeling unsafe and upset with too much wildlife and nature! Not for us I'm afraid but if massive spiders don't phase you, sleep here with them."
