Reviews of The 1884
"Nice friendly atmosphere and huge back area with big screen ideal for sports games during the summer"
"Friendly pub with good vibe to meet with friends. Not that crowded so both spot and service will be there for you."
"Went here on a week day. Nice spot, friendly atmosphere. Plenty of tvs to watch the football. Place to charge your phone what's handy. Had poker tables set up in the back of the pub."
"Lovely bar recently renovated and taken over by new owners. The Old Grangers pub as most people know it as. The place has lovely big feel to is as soon as you walk in and it continues all the way out the the super beer garden. The weather was to cold but looks like a super place to watch a match. It looked like a big screen and a bar but was all off at this time of year. The food was nice and the Guinness was good. They also have a fantastic selection of Whiskeys with very friendly staff and a good size wheelchair accessible toilet. I don't know what more you could ask for from a local pub with a bus stop on it's doorstep, we'll definitely be back."
