Reviews of Tamra Thai
"I had another fabulous meal in Tamra last night. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. There were six of us so I got the opportunity to sample a number of different dishes. The biggest challenge is actually narrowing down the selection on what to order. We were celebrating a family birthday and were made feel like very special guests for the evening. Overall it was a great experience."
"Ordered food for collection at 7.30 after myself and my partner had worked all week. Got there a bit early, food was ready. Manager insisted on repacking food into a plastic bag. Got home, food nearly cold. After working all week, not what you need, or want. Green curry soupy, as in too liquidy. Wild ginger lamb was like some housewife who can't cook, cooked for Sunday dinner...not very Thai tasting. Plastic bag was probably to keep it going stone cold. Food wasn't even kept warm in restaurant. Mixed vegetables were just that..mixed veg..no sauce, flavour or flair. Ingredients fresh though, and cooked well but not overwhelmed. Disappointed, as first time customers. Make an effort guys. Disappointed after a hard week, spending hard earned on this?..."
"I've gotten take away a few times from Tamra Thai. Regarding food flavour it's the best Thai I've had in Dublin. Starters or mains - the flavours are superb. Kids loved the curry. Great to have places like Tamra. Can't wait to have a meal there rather than take away."
"A nice, cute and cozy restaurant with a nice and calming vibe. It might seem small at first but there’s more seating upstairs. Upon arriving to the table, a bowl of prawn crackers was brought over which were a nice pre-meal snack. The food was really delicious and one of the best Thai places I’ve visited so far. The staff were very polite and helpful and the food was presented nicely. I recommend this place to people looking for a tasty Thai meal."
"This is a fantastic Thai restaurant the food is superb and the service is fantastic we were in attendance as a group of 6 and all the staff made us welcome and couldn't do enough for us and with the lovely atmosphere we all had a great time i would highly recommend a visit"
