"Came for a quick sushi lunch. Had a spicy salmon tempura roll and California roll. I don’t know if I’m used to sushi being cheap in Sweden, but for me €14.5 for 8 pieces is quite hefty. The sushi itself was ok. There was a big lack of flavor, and little to no spice, but no major issues. I did not realize that tempura roll meant deep fried sushi, not a big fan of this but that’s on me not the restaurant. Staff was super friendly and the location is unmatched. Overall alright experience, good sushi but expected way more based on price and google reviews, would probably come back."
"J2 Sushi&Grill right opposite the Spencer Hotel is a nice cosy spot with amazing service and really tasty food. A nice spot during the cold rainy December. I ordered a rice bowl with California roll and the host was kind of enough to bring my partner and I green tea while we waited for the food. It was the best service for the cold weather and not to forget the hosts’ warm smile. Food was very delicious and portion size is great for price."
"Amazing sushi experience:) great service! Received a complimentary tea ☕️ on arrival I’d recommend dragon roll and tiger roll. Great unagi :) Rolls are huge and fool of fish. Ingredients are fresh. Lovely music Will come back!"
"Came here because it was very close to my hotel and I didn't feel like walking far, and I'm glad I did! Very good food for the price, and good size portions! Probably the first time I've been unable to eat all the rice in my meal. I ordered the takoyaki, ikura gunkan, and the salmon Don. Everything was quite tasty, quality was good, a little too much mayo and rice in the salmon don, but otherwise not much to complain about!"
"After 3 years in Dublin I finally found a place with great sushi. We have first ordered Aburi Salmon and Spider and both choices were appetizing. After that we shared Sushi tempura rolls - also very delicious. The service was also friendly and we did enjoy the decor and mellow music. Definitely will be coming back."
