Reviews
"Young staff too busy chatting to each other and having a laugh and no interest in helping customers. Even got the big annoyed sigh when I asked where something was only to be told "All our stock gets moved around so I don't know where it is" Would not recommend."
"Disgraceful management! I got a shoe on one of the racks, asked a (very helpful) guy, member of staff to please bring me the pair as I would like to keep them. 2 seconds later, "Manager" (a blond young lady with no manners whatsoever) came from across the room and without even looking at me, snatched the shoe off my hand just saying it couldn't be sold at the store and walked off?! I went after her to check what happened and she very poorly and rudely tried to say they couldn't sell it as they didn't have a bar code for it (remember she took it without even checking it first). I remember very clearly seeing both the price tag AND the bar code inside the shoe, even though she tried to convince me otherwise – in a very unpleasant manner, I must emphasise. I asked her what I could do then, if I could purchase them through the website in that case and she replied with a "I don't know", probably just not to directly say "I don't care", I guess. She went on with excuses while I asked her why would it be exposed for sale then, and why she would not check it in advance. Maybe she was telling the truth, but it did straightaway feel like made up excuses just to keep the shoes for some reason. In any case, snatching something off a customer's hand will never be the right way of dealing with whatever issue there is. Not even if the shoes were €10 this attitude and absolute lack of customer service would be acceptable. Will definitely avoid the store from now on and I honestly hope JD take into account all complaints from me and other customers who shared their experience here. I used to experience great service at this same shop and it's a pity it just went this bad."
"the organization is totally pitiful. The clerks in the women's shoes area are quite unpleasant and tell you that they don't have the size without having scanned the shoe. I have asked for a size and I have been waiting for 40 minutes and in the end they told me that they did not have it. totally disappointing."
"Music is always very loud, staf is not properly trained and not friendly at all, employees were having arguments with supervisor just beside me and other clients. My last time there (21/07/2022) the sales girl was so rude that I stayed just because I wanted to use a gift voucher and don't have to step in there anymore. It's a pity once the store is very central and full of nice stuff."
"Worst place. I brought a pair of shoes and they packed me 2 different size. When I went back to change it, it was not a nice experience. The manager was rude and ask me to take a different shoe as the don’t have the size for my shoe I purchased. But when I told I want refund, they made me wait 20 mins. The same time one another customer came with similar issue. Seems like they don’t have different sizes for the shoes they display."
