Reviews
"Great place to visit right on the edge of town great walks for dogs, lots of history close by and some great pubs with equally great food...take a look."
"This novice managed to get his 69ft narrowboat over the aqueduct (twice) without issues. The view is wonderful."
"Great for a walk. I wouldn't recommend cycling there from either direction using a racing bike. I have a road bike and it's just about doable. Very rubbly surface. Lots of puddles and mud when wet. Heavy on the arms."
"Nice pub serving take away food due to covid 19, with outdoor seating spread over various locations on a steep slope, outside toilet block, a popular location for cyclists and walkers located close to the canal, cycle storage area, well worth a visit"
"Stunning! And the Cross Guns is a great little venue for some good pub grub or even just a nice cold beer in the sunshine! There were some cows bathing in the waters on my last visit to the aqueduct! Love it here!"
