"Always an enjoyment walking around Stratford Park. This week it has snowed but it was easy enough to walk around."
"Enjoyed the walk around the park and the short forest path. Lovely playground for children. Also the lake is very pretty, Took my dogs and they were very happy. There are toilets here and a small cafe by the museum."
"We visit the park regularly as it is a lovely place to picnic, play and walk. You can stay all day for free (up to 12 hours parking). On our most recent visit, yesterday, we spotted a heron and ate our picnic admiring it. We also popped into Museum in the Park for the first time yesterday and were amazed that it was a) free (donations more than welcome), and b) had so many activities for the kids specifically to do. I.e. various trails around the park and the museum itself."
"Excellent park with something for everyone here. On our visit walked around the pleasant grounds and had lunch at the cafe at the leisure centre which is great for snack foods, drinks, cakes etc. with indoor & outside seating. The museum has free entry and is highly recommended, with numerous quality displays celebrating British life over the centuries covering artifacts, transport, agriculture, industry, fossils, schools, fashion, household life and much more, plus children's interactive play areas. The walled garden to the rear of the museum is beautiful and again is a must to see to fully appreciate. Tennis courts, bowling green, bandstand, skatepark, outside swimming pool and leisure centre complete what the whole park has to offer. Just amazing!"
"Beautiful grounds to walk through and explore. Lovely lake where we've often seen swans and there's plenty of ducks to feed! There's also a museum that's free to explore as well as playground parks for the children!"
