"It's a decent size for an inner city green, a few homeless type hang around in it but they don't bother anyone. It gets quite busy in the summer with office workers, kids and dogs and there is a load of local food stalls to grab lunch just outside on Lower Marsh. There is also a Jamaican stall that sets up inside the park."
"It is a small but nice garden, opposite Waterloo Station. It is perfect if you are meeting people coming out of the train station and you don't want to trek lots. There are several shops where you can buy something to nibble ordrink and pubs if you feel like going indoors or weather gets bad. There are some pretty flowers and a few art pieces that give some more character"
"Nice small park with lion sculptures. A few places to sit, otherwise you're on the grass."
"I work in Waterloo so grabbed lunch here, there are a pride of life size bronze lions here atm, spaced around the park that make for some interesting views, there is also a giant spider.. ergh! That is pretty scary so for a all little park there is a bit of interest and photo opportunities"
"Waterloo Millennium park is a small park close to Waterloo station. It's quite a "hilly" park with gravel walkways, lots of greenery and enough benches, plus a few that are quite funky looking. The park is decent by London standards and seems to be free of "undesirable" elements. Don't go out of the way though. On the day of the visit there was repair being made to the garden located inside the park, so perhaps when that's finished, it's something worth seeing."
