"Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Dreadful experience with Argyle St. store staff. Diamond ring returned unrecognisable from their workshop. First point of contact (J ) knew how the ring looked beforehand - it was discussed then how unusually wide and heavy it was. When I complained another staff member (M ) - whose manner left much to be desired - took to dealing with it. I first received a loud and aggressive telephone call from her ahead of visit to shop where, short of calling me a liar, was told the ring was not as I described! Photos prove otherwise! All this while (J ) sat smirking in the background and I was told not to speak to her! Now left with completely different ring, no refund or compensation. What an outfit! I too, like other reviewers, am of a temperate nature and kept my composure throughout but have been left absolutely sickened, angered and disgusted by the whole transaction and treatment that followed. Is a pattern evolving?…. If this is the level of service here you can keep it….. Would most definitely NOT recommend!"
