"Horrible customer experience at this shop. Popped in here to pick up a cheap watch to see me by while my relatively expensive watch was away for repair. I am lost without a wrist watch. As I was browsing a rather forward female sales assistant approached me and asked if she could help. As I was trying to give an idea of my price point she interrupted me in mid-sentence while she briefly talked to another customer. A bit perturbed at the interruption I began my question again. For a second time she interrupted me - finishing my sentence for me. I then tried to ask if it were possible to get a watch that was solar powered under £50. For.a third time my question was cut off - with her finishing my question for me - well what she THOUGHT was my question. She started going on about how reliable watches were at this price point - not my question at all. I have never met a more annoying or presumptuous and rude sales assistant. Not interested in a word I was asking. I decided to have one last attempt at asking my question - to my astonishment she turned to yet another person beginning yet another conversation - cutting me off again in mid sentence. I wasn't going for a 5th attempt so I decided to leave at this point. To my absolute astonishment and disgust she must have taken some sort of offence from this because she started to laugh at me along with the other customer. This is only the second time I have been out the house during the pandemic. I was more than a little anxious. During the lockdown I have had 2 strokes and my health has not been good. The strokes have effected my confidence but my speech is still articulate and fluid. There is no excuse for a sales assistant to treat a customer like this. Completely oblivious to her behaviour. I have never seen such a display of unawareness, rudeness and bad customer service. I will definitely not be shopping here again. If she had just allowed me to get 1 sentence out, they would have a sale and a happy customer."
