"Stayed here a few times over the years and more recently, November 2022. Rooms are everything you would expect from a standard Premier Inn Hotel but I do feel that the place is starting to feel tired. The bathroom floor for example was slightly spongy and needed fixing. Staff at the hotel were very friendly but room cleaning was hit and miss despite being requested. The manager did apologise and gave us some chocs as a sorry though. This was appreciated. We will definitely stay here again as we have family close by, but I do hope premier inn provide an update in the near future."
"Hotel was exemplary. What I would expect.HOWEVER...The guy who was bar supervisor in the Toby Carvery should never ever be allowed barside. Rude,arrogant a real a-hole. Spoiled a great weekend for 20 couples by refusing service. Lost company a ton of money. He needs help."
"2 day visit whilst visiting family. Staff all really friendly and welcoming. Particularly liked the Breakfast restaurant that is integral to the hotel (as opposed to using an adjoining pub) The breakfast was first class both days ,and the lady manager added an extra dimension ,being especially friendly and welcoming."
"Staff were so friendly and welcoming. The lady who seated us for breakfast was so good especially with our kids, she made sure everything was done right. Couldn't thank her enough. My son would like to say thank you to the chef who cooked the sausages as they were all he talked about all day!!! Very Clean, Very handy & Very welcoming Thank you so much"
"The hotel is conveniently situated off several Trunk roads and has a Toby carvery right next door so it's handy for an Evening Meal. The Hotel does offer All you can eat Breakfast which was had a good selection of Cooked food, Cereals, Fruit & Pastries & was very nice. The Premier Inn was well presented, staff were very helpful & friendly & the price was very good too. Edinburgh Zoo was 25 minutes away & so this was a good base for us outside of Edinburgh as we were only visiting the Zoo before travelling on to Loch Lomond. I would definately recommend this Premier Inn"
