"We were here as part of a wedding party and also stayed over for the night. The staff were very helpful... including producing a gluten free and dairy free dinner and snacks for partner. The room was amazing. Can't find a fault with the Stair Arms... we will return"
"The stair Arms has been here for as long as I can remember and has always been popular for weddings. The surroundings are beautiful for pictures and they do a great set up for weddings although the evening can be a bit tight on space if there is a lot of guests. Meals are offered here and are very good for a reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit if passing."
"Was at the Stair Arms for my nephew's birthday meal. We were in a separate room as we had a good amount of people with us, room was lovely. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious! Not one person had an issue with any of the food. Will definitely be back!"
"Attended for a wedding. Food was mostly excellent and drink prices are pretty reasonable, certainly much better than anything in central Edinburgh. Rooms are nicely presented for their age but ours was pretty cold in October. Staff were all pretty happy to help out. Location is pretty good, right on the main road and would be a 20 minute drive to Edinburgh and positioned well for a drive to the borders. If we were not staying for the wedding the noise would have been too much so bare that in mind."
