"On the main road in Uphall, so very easy to get to by car, bus, bike or walking. Food is soooooo tasty (I have done sit in dinner and just eat breakfast). Staff are so friendly."
"We (6 people,) sent for Dinner there. It was busy and had a lovely table. Service was excellent. I had fillet steak. Absolutely delicious and my daughter in law had the same. We both agreed it was cooked to perfection. Best steaks we had in a long time. Certainly recommend it."
"Stayed in their rooms for a local family event. Clean, large room, dog-friendly, welcoming bar downstairs, and they went out of their way to help us when we lost something after we had left. Nothing fancy, but the opposite of a soulless corporate chain."
"I got a delivery from just eat. Would have gave this breakfast 5 stars if it hadn’t been for the scrambled egg. It was literally tasteless and was really grey in colour on some parts. The rest was great. Just get a fried egg. Delivery was really fast and all the food still arrived hot. Would recommend."
"Went for the set dinner today and none of the food tasted fresh except the cheesecake dessert.. definitely the worst Christmas dinner I've had everything was made from frozen. roast potatoes, veg, stuffing. What made it worse was the service, maybe if the waitresses smiled or even had some manners. Had to ask for food to be taken away from table, we were never asked how the food was or if we needed anything. no glasses were taken away either so tables were just a mess. Will not be back."
