"Update 25 May 2022. Absolute Last Appointment and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this dentist !!! When I told the dentist Gemma Lockhead about the food debris resulting in broken fillings she said that was a very common occurrence. She hadn't mentioned this at the assessment nor when she was originally doing the fillings. She fixed the broken ones again and then polished the 6 front fillings she had worked on The next morning the 2 top front fillings and another 2 on bottom were chipped and broken again whilst brushing them. This was less than 24 hours after they had been worked on for 2nd time. I was extremely unhappy so I emailed a complaint to Mrs Craig who is practice owner. I got a reply from a subordinate informing me my complaint should be addressed to Gemma Lockhea, the dentist I was complaining about. As there is no way on earth I'd let her near my mouth again I didn't see any point in sending a further complaint addressed to her. After all she had told me to expect them to break and fall out! Foolishly I assumed eventually would be years down the line. I had a cosmetic filling done to a peg tooth, next to my 2 upper front teeth, 45 years ago by a student at Glasgow Dental Hospital. It's still firmly in place but Gemma Lockhead's fillings couldn't last days let alone years and she's a "certified" dentist. Absolutely appalling service and to make it worse, I had paid for the mess she made in my mouth. . I have now joined the waiting list for another practice and even if offered free treatment for life I wouldn't let that woman near my mouth again. Beware!! Update: 13 May 2022 - 2nd appointment Despite needing real fillings on at least half a dozen teeth Gemma did only the 6 cosmetic fillings on my worn front teeth. She left a lot of filler on the back of my teeth and a couple of days later food got trapped causing a lot of discomfort. Whilst I was removing this debris 2 of the bottom 4 fillings broke off and another had a ragged edge.This happened within days of them being done. The top 2 were too big and I couldn't bite down on anything Not at all happy! 13 April 2022 - 1st appointment at Kelvingrove Dental for assessment on how much work I need done was with Gemma Lockhead. She seemed professional and I felt confident and comfortable about the work she proposed doing on my teeth"

"This dental practice is wonderful. Anne Craig is a lovely dentist who is very kind and understanding. Over this recent period another dentist in the practice has been seeing to my difficult treatments. She is fantastic, very thorough. She is bringing my poor old teeth back to life and I'm very grateful. I'm telling everyone who will listen about how good she is!"

"Just had an unfortunate experience with this dental practice. I had turned up (5 mins late) to find it apparently closed for lunch (12.45 till 1.45 on the window and the website) even though my appointment was for 1pm. No sign of life so I left thinking I'd gotten it wrong. Went back, attempted to explain but was told I'd have to pay a £40 surcharge to get a new appointment. I told them I'd been there and offered to pay a reduced charge (because I'm nice that way) say £10 for their trouble. No joy. I suspect missed appointments are a nice little earner for dentists, sad really as they seemed nice. Now to find another dentist."

"I’ve been going here for a while now and they have always been great. I’ve missed a few appointments and you do get charged but I think it’s fair enough. The lady who did my scale and polish last time was very thourogh and explained everything as she went. Quite educational and reassuring. My normal dentist is Fiona who is maternity leave at the minute, her replacement is just as nice and friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience here and would recommend it."

"I recently moved to Scotland, and signed up with them because they are NHS registered. They were very thorough with the examination and patiently answered all my queries. They also helped me find an orthodontist (I wear braces) to my transfer treatment to Glasgow. Edit. They charge £10 if you miss an appointment"
