"I’ve driven past the Jug and Glass hundreds of times but finally had a meal here today (22/1/23). We received a lovely warm welcome, the waitress was so nice and friendly and the food really good. Proper pub food, I had the steak pie which was possibly the best I’ve even eaten. Very reasonable pricing and a nice classic style pub atmosphere. We did book a table which I would recommend. My wife cannot eat food with milk, it was a massive bonus for us that they immediately helped us select a meal slightly modified to suit her. Thank you so much to all the team, looking forward to another visit."
"We’ve been several times for food. Always great service, good choice on the menu and served really quick. Food is very reasonably priced and great drinks choices too. We will keep coming back!"
"Sunday roast was outstanding. Choice of beef or pork and I chose the pork. A heap of lovely hand carved meat with delicious stuffing, crackling, roast potatoes, roast parsnip, green beans, carrots, red cabbage, apple sauce and excellent gravy. At £11.25 the nicest ..... and best value Sunday roast I've come across in the UK. Very welcoming hosts as well - no downside to this wonderful find. In an area where there are many choices this is a must visit."
"We had an amazing Sunday dinner ,- you will not leave hungry. My partner and I both had the roast pork with stuffing. The roast potatoes were cooked perfectly and the green beans crispy and not overcooked. It also came with carrots, cabbage and two lots of stuffing. Highly recommend stopping by on Sunday."
"A great little pub. Had 2 trips there in a week , one for a Sunday afternoon food and drink stop as we were passing, second specifically planned a walk to pass there. Nice meals at affordable prices, with a selection of beers, which had changed over the 2 visits we had . Friendly staff and cozy pub... outside was OK when it was not so windy!. I am sure we will call again"
