"A well maintained family, country style pub. Decent selection of drinks and bar snacks, with an ample sized dining room. I haven't tasted the food yet but it always looks great in passing. Good sized car park right next to the pub too."
"Welcoming classic country pub. Good choice of real ales including the local brewery Chantry. The menu has what you'd expect but with some more interesting dishes. My generous all-day breakfast was excellent, nice ingredients and properly cooked. Wholeheartedly recommended."

Had booked , but could not have a table in dining room.Told was fully booked but there were at least 6 tables empty all the time we were there.we had a cramped table in bar .sat next to a family of four made to sit at a table big enough for two. Food was mediocre, the beef pie was almost inedible, Been sat in oven too long was rock hard and filling almost dried up.£43 for 3 meals and soft drink."
"Beautiful pub, very quaint. My review should be 5 stars but I've knocked 2 off due to paying £23 for a lamb shank ( a very rare treat) that came with at best 4 bits of meat. You don't normally get alot of meat but this was poor. Amazing place and I would go again"
