"10/10 would NOT recommend. Some of the staff is so rude. We were promised many events and socials to get to know the residents but Urbanest Hoxton has not organised anything. Moreover, they also do not allow us to have any parties or gatherings. We recently had a get together/party and not only was the staff rude to us everytime we made requests, they also had issues with everything we did from dimming the lights to staying in the common room past 1 am despite it being a Saturday. Some time ago, we asked them to email residents about an Urbanest Hoxton whatsapp gc we made but they refused to do that as well."

"I've stayed at and visited numerous student accommodations during my student years. Urbanest Hoxton is an average one. First, no real effort is being made to create a community. No social events take place, and it is very hard to meet people. Second, the common room is adequate but could be improved. Other student accommodations provide a wider range of games and activities within their premises. Additionally, the gym is as basic as a gym could be, lacking the necessary equipment for a good workout. Third, maintenance works seem to be taking place extremely often. Workers are constantly fixing doors, lifts, leaks. It is also extremely annoying that they do this early in the morning. Fourth, the walls between flats are extremely thin, you can hear your flatmates. Doors also close in a very aggressive and loud manner. On the other hands, Urbanest Hoxton also offers a few positives. First, there is a Tesco's located on the ground floor. There is also a restaurant offering Chicken meals and Indian cuisine dishes. Second, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Third, my flat has a balcony. Fourth, just a five minute walk to Old Street Station and a bus stop right outside."

"I honestly loved living at Urbanest. It has fantastic views and really cozy rooms. The staff here is amazing, specially Damir!! He really is the best one. He always makes sure that our problems are solved within the day and he is a very good hearted person!!! My stay at urbanest was worth it :)"

"I stayed in Urbanest Hoxton for one year from autumn '21 to late summer '22. I stayed in a studio flat on the third floor and found the building and staff to perfectly suit my needs. The apartment came furnished which was a huge help in getting settled. There is ample storage space. My room had loads of natural light and a nice view of the sunset each evening. The 7th floor rooftop and common area were spacious and pleasant with a nice view of the city. The reception staff was always very accommodating especially Damir! He was endlessly welcoming and very helpful. The maintenance staff also went above and beyond anytime something went wrong or needed fixing. Truly, my only complaint is the cost of the accommodation--it is incredibly high... but I knew that going in."
