"Dated but acceptable hotel. Good for tube access. Decent reception with friendly staff. Good continental breakfast coffee and juice, but the cooked breakfast wasn't very nice at all, tasted very strange or cheaply bought products!! Cleaning staff were very noisy when working .. chatting and laughing at 8am when some are trying to have a well earned lie in, but friendly when asked to be quiet lol .. and every door (as it sounded) slams loudly due to it being an older hotel."

"We were lucky to be offered a room for the night as our son was due to be seen at great ormand Street Hospital the following day. Reception and door staff were very helpful and polite. The room was spotlessly clean and they had provided a fridge for our sons medicines. Basics were provided like soap, shampoo tea and coffee sachets. The only two slight problems was the room was far to hot with no means of adjusting temperature as a result we had the window open, but then had noise from people below in the outside drinking area of the pub. It didn't last all night and was only I mild annoyance. Overall very happy with our stay."

"Pleasant albeit small room, well located seconds from Russell Square. Well priced, clean and friendly staff. The room was very hot and no way to turn off the radiator but windows open a decent amount so it is not too bad. The breakfast was very decent with a good selection. Beds not the most comfortable."

"We stayed here for 4 nights. It’s a nice hotel with friendly staff. Our room was clean, and on the small side of the spectrum which was fine for us! The breakfast was good but a little on the pricey side for what you can get for a few minute walk to some great restaurants. It’s definitely located properly, close to the underground and walking distance for those willing to walk to most things. I would stay here again no problem."

"This is the first time I used this hotel. The good thing about is the location, most of it is in walking distance and a good connection with the underground. But do have to be honest as well. The beds are hard as hell. I have already back problems and their beds made it even harder for me. It felt like I was sleeping on the floor. They are super hard. Also twice the housekeeping forgot to refill the coffee and tea. It is a uncomfortable situation. Hope that they can do some upgrades."
