"Nice Team of the Hotel but unfortunately the Bathroom was stinky of moist and very difficult to stay inside. We put products to remove the smell, opened all windows, nothing worked so I'm not sure next clients will have a pleasant stay if they take the same room. Apologies in advance for this challenging review but intervention must be done in this room."

"We had a great time in London but the Lord Kensington Hotel is not a place I would return. We needed a room last minute as our VRBO fell through--found this and thought it'd be okay. However, the rooms are really small with old carpeting and unprotected mattresses (even though they looked new--I was surprised to see them exposed and vulnerable to any bedbugs or other stains). We were visiting during some of the hottest days in London so not having AC was an inconvenience but wound up being okay. The staff was nice and gave us a fan to use- but I am not sure all the rooms had fans available. The key cards never worked so it was annoying to have to reconfigure them each time we came back to the hotel. There was a safe where we were able to keep our valuables so that was helpful. Since it was so hot we had to keep the window open all night. The view of the backyard was essentially a junk yard with weeds and discarded furniture. Plus, the hotel is located so close to the metro that you can hear the breaks squealing while sleeping. We slept pretty well considering the noise and the heat, to be fair, but that's because we pounded the pavement all day and all night so we were dog tired. The photos on the website are misleading as the hotel is in major need of a renovation. Again, staff was sweet but just want others to know what they are booking."

"Although very quaint, the owners were very good and keen to help . Very receptive to suggestions and made my stay with my friends amazing. Booked last year, returned again with my friends over the weekend and stayed again on the night of my birthday with my daughters. We will definitely return again. Carol and Dennis are amazing people.Rooms clean and linen. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Also the place is walking distance to the tube, buses and a variety of restaurants, pubs, and shops!"

"Lovely, cosy place in an excellent area! Everything is close to the hotel (Café, restaurants, Pubs, super markets and of course the tube and Bus stops). The room was quiet and very clean and we had everything we asked for. Carola is a wonderful person, helped us on everything we needed and made us feel very welcomed!"

"The location is superb, (underground, buses, overground are few min away), the staff are exceptional, warm greetings at all times, the rooms are clean, warm, cosy and small (but this is normal in London). The bathroom we had is brand new with pressure shower, fabulous after we had a long sightseeing tour. The wifi works fine for me. The staff are very friendly and help you whatever problem occurs. I really appreciated the luggage storage facility and the care that was taken to ensure your belongings were stored safely. Excellent for everything, restaurant, bars, food shops all 2 minutes away. LOVELY AND QUIET WITH EVERYTHING ON HAND , Piccadilly lane to Heathrow needs only 40min, West end theatre 14 min, WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?"
