"Room wasn't clean, huge cobwebs and spiders/dead bugs everywhere, huge blood stain on the mattress which we didn't notice till the morning, shower was mouldy and bath was dirty, mirror was smashed. Wouldn't recommend staying here unless you need something cheap and have no other option."

"First time I have stayed at this hotel. It’s in the middle of a beautiful Forrest. My room was nice and clean and had everything you expect to have. Was able to park my van right outside my window which is a bonus while working away. The staff were great never waited long for anything I needed. I did notice that my kettle didn’t fit in my sink nearly defeated I realised I can just use the cup to fill the kettle. OH and to top it off the have an on site Indian restaurant which was ten out of ten. I definitely recommend this hotel"

"For me personally wasn't a great stay. The room was fine but the bathroom was pretty rank lots of mildew and mould not very inviting shower. Certain fixtures hanging off the wall in the bathroom aswell. There was also some kind of annex in the corner attached to a house where people were playing very loud music till 1am then started again at 6am on a Sunday which wasn't brilliant. All in all probably wouldn't book again."

"Nice bedroom but DREADFUL bathroom. Big patches of damp. Toilet didn’t fill so was noisy for ages. Shower head doesn’t angle down. Couldn’t fill kettle from sink as it’s too small!"

"Surprisingly great! It is located in an unassuming location next to the Essex boxing centre and there are some building works outside but the rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. Great for a girls sleepover in Epping centre (only 5 mins drive away)."
