“The best ever area I have visit in London so far. I will come with bike to ride in this lovely area . This is the best place for cycling and hang around d w8th fresh Air .”

“Arrived 45 minutes before original check in and the receptionist at the front was amazing, very polite and double checked to see if the room was ready for us and it was. She allowed us to check in early. Not sure her name which is a shame but she deserves alot of praise, blonde hair I'd say mid 20's, slim build. She check dus in at 14.15 on the 22nd of October and she worked in the breakfast area the following morning. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast food was outstanding especially the bacon and black pudding. All staff serving breakfast were polite and respectful. Will defiantly stay again when I visit family in London again.”

“Excellent venue. We received a warm welcome on arrival, something most hotels somehow forget to manage, and were so impressed with the room, facilities and staff. The food in the restaurant was very good vegan burger was excellent. The spa , pool and gym also very good. Had a wonderful walk in Epping forest just ten minutes walk away.”

“After reading the reviews on here I was not looking forward to staying here. We arrived at 5ish after a 4 hour journey found it perfectly. The staff was around to help withe booking in process and was at hand to help in anyway they could. The room was clean and basic and had teas and coffee available. Clean towels available. Our room was cleaned the next day and the breakfast was amazing value for money. I don't know what people want but this hotel has everything you need, clean, warm and welcoming. “We stayed at Birch for a couple days in The Riding club family room. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The events, staff and chilled out vibe they create is truly unique. Our kids loved it. The staff were particularly good with my autistic/ADHD teenage daughter. And the food is the best we’ve had in ages. Yes, the rooms are basic (air-con major plus) but it’s meant as a base to explore the gems within the grounds. Well done team Birch - we love what you’ve created and will definitely be back. “Surprisingly great! It is located in an unassuming location next to the Essex boxing centre and there are some building works outside but the rooms are spacious and beds are comfy. Great for a girls sleepover in Epping centre (only 5 mins drive away).”
