"I called to reception around 16:45 on 17/02/2023 to book an appointment because online portal was closed and they were not accepting online request . I spoke to Bushra on that day she was very professional , polite, friendly and caring. I really appreciate her help to book an appointment because I was very ill. Thank You Bushra . The Doctor (Lakshmi Raj) was also very professional, attentive and humble person and I received great care from her . Thank you to Dr Lakshmi and the rest of surgery team."

"This surgery needs to review the patient call waiting time as it is astronomically high. On multiple occasions I have tried to call this surgery and been on hold for over an hour, someone then answers and puts the phone down. Other times I have simply been on hold for 90mins before I am able to speak to someone. I do not believe the phone lines can be this busy constantly throughout the surgery hours but even if it is, then clearly something needs to be changed in the process and structure of the surgery picking up calls. It’s almost impossible to get through if needed. The new booking system also assumes people can be available for an appointment whenever the surgery decides and doesn’t take into account a patients outside commitments. Then of course it’s impossible to call in to rearrange. It’s been terrible for way too long and this needs to be addressed. Local surgery’s in the borough have a significantly faster call pick up time, so clearly the current process at Tolgate is not working."

"The medical staff are great but reception staff are clueless. My mother (who has heart failure and Parkinson's) recently moved here and has been trying to register with the GP since early November when she submitted a form to do so. After a few weeks of nothing she went in to be told they couldn't find her form, but after looking again they found it. Another 2 weeks later, now they say they can't find it again and she must submit a new one in person. She will soon run out of medication, this is absolutely unacceptable."
