"I came here now the 4th time. First I was sent away that their computer system broke down. Second time I was told they are fully booked and cannot see me on that day. Third time, on Saturday, they said come back next day when there are much less people since they were very busy. Came back the next day, Sunday morning just to find a queue over the corner (see photo). Haven’t even had a chance being seen so I cannot rate the service. Hence the 2 star instead of just one."
"I arrived in front of the clinic 45 minutes before opening which gave me the second spot in the queue. I wish there was a different way to book things in, and perhaps call to check whether there are still appointments available. However, this is a reliable weekend clinic and I am grateful that it is a place where you can get treatment straight away if you plan ahead. The staff were lovely and I got what I needed from the visit."
"I came here from East London to get the copper coil fitted, I wasn’t able to get an appointment at All East SH for a few months, the service is awful and shocking! This is the only walk in service I was able to find in London, and I was really pleased. I came at 12:30 for an appointment, there was a small queue but the receptionists were moving people quickly, the process was very professional and you didn’t discuss anything out loud. I got given an appointment same day at 4:10, though you do have to wait around, it is incredible that you get on the day appointments! I got seen a little before my appointment as I was a bit early, which was very nice as I had expected to wait for at least an hour. There were some IT complications with appointments, however the two lovely receptionists got me seen anyway and it was a smooth process from start to finish. I was seen by the lovely nurse Kim, who eased my nerves and made me feel very comfortable with the entire process. She didn’t rush over explaining, answered all my questions and took her time. I didn’t feel like she was trying to get me seen asap, like at the gp. I’m quite prone to fainting so she asked if I would like another person present to hold my hand and talk to me during the procedure, this was the wonderful Sue! Both ladies kept me comfortable and were by my side the entire time. The procedure isn’t pleasant, however I felt as comfortable as possible and I got to stay as long as I needed afterwards. The ladies went above and beyond to make sure I was okay, they made sure I was fit to travel home before I left the clinic, and even asked if I could possibly get someone to collect me. I couldn’t thank them enough for how much they cared! For anyone wondering if there is parking, there are quite a few pay by phone parking spots available and I was able to find this quite easily. Thank you to both receptionists, and Sue and Kim again for making this process as smooth as possible! I would most definitely recommend the clinic, and you have my respect for running a walk in clinic as smoothly as you do! If it wasn’t so far I would bring you all chocolates :)"
"I've been twice over the last 3 years for an implant replacement and the service has been brilliant on both occasions. The place is immaculate and the receptionists and clinical staff are lovely and professional. Who would've thought a visit to a sexual health clinic could be such an enjoyable experience!"
"Been coming here since 2014. Yes, the queues are long. Yes, they are understaffed sometimes. Yes, the waiting time can be very long even if you have a appointment(I think I waited like 1 hour once). Yes, they will make you come back another time/day for a arranged appointment if it’s super busy before you get there for a walk in. Yes, sometimes I’m annoyed too. But hey at least it’s something and when you are seen by a clinician it’s actually really good. For that I’m very great-full. And it’s FREE and opens SEVEN days a week!!! Just remember that before some of you give 1 stars. Some of the services, medication, vaccines costs £££ if you went non-NHS. If you never been here before, I recommend trying to book online for those rare slots or if you walk-in to the clinic you get there BEFORE they open doors. Otherwise if you come middle of the day there is a chance you won’t be seen that day depending on your situation. I don’t think they do telephone appointments anymore at the time of this writing. Also worth noting that they have door opening times and clinic times, so the opening times on Google are clinic opening times."
