"If i could rate it minus I would worse doctors ever and the way u have to tell the receptionist the hole of your private life before you can get a call back from the doctor is very upsetting they might as well give u the diagnosis. The doctor lack on empathy and compassion and one even told me that there wasn't anything wrong with me when there clearly was. Made me feel like I was wrong for asking for a sickness for time off from work for mental health reasons like they was my employer and I was lying it's very upsetting"
"If I could give no stars I would. They have doctors that don’t even know how to speak to unwell patients properly and receptionists that are oblivious to everything! Mad an appointment for myself and my sick 4 year old, my luck I ended up getting this horrible doctor called Ali Ruiz! He had so much attitude after being on the phone for only 6 minutes he was saying that I just don’t want to do anything myself and just hanged up. In the end he didn’t even call back in regards to my son’s appointment! I’ll definitely be changing GPS! It’s funny because this isn’t even my first problem but after this I am done. Needs to be shut down."
"I've had the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor at Akermans Medical Practice named Dr Neville Fernandes. This is not my registered GP Practice but was sent there by the Lambeth hub. He didn't know the reason for my appointment so he asked me what was I there for. I started to explain and before I got two words out he cut in and said. " Can you hurry up and explain what you are here about?" I couldn't believe I was being spoken to like this by a doctor! So I said excuse me? He then replied I say this to all my patients! I was shocked and horrified, he had to take my blood pressure 4 times to get a normal reading! This man should not be allowed to practise, I can just imagine how he speaks to the elderly and people who can't speak English. This doctor is a disgrace to the NHS. I would never go back to that surgery ever, I'd rather go to the hospital and wait for the whole day. There is clearly no form of professionalism in that place because whilst I was waiting to be seen a patient was arguing with the receptionist over an appointment and another patient was arguing about some results he should have gotten since last September. This Practice needs to be investigated, its not fair for patients to be spoken to and treated this way by the staff at this Practice."
"Female receptionist was extremely rude and frankly shouldn’t not be any front of house roles. She answered the phone and waited for me to speak. Seemed very disgruntled and did not want to be there, let alone be on the phone to me. Towards end of call she ended by grunting and hung up the phone. Practice must not care as I can see a large amount of bad reviews. Practice has definitely gone downhill."
"Dr Remi and nurse Yemi are an absolute disgrace to the NHS organisation and they give doctors and nurses a bad name. My recent dealings with Dr Remi and Nurse Yemi have been emotionally draining and I have been left feeling stressed about my ongoing situation regarding my health. Dr Remi shows very little compassion when talking to clients in person, or on the phone, he's very cocky, abrupt and careless. He has screamed at me down the phone, sighing and snapping at me, and treating me like I am below him, he has called me a lair and most shockingly sent me another patient's personal information. Breaking patient confidentiality. Nurse Yemi predicted that I was going to have a heart attack at any minute either today or tomorrow if I don't seek medical attention from a doctor, she also asked if I was there to "suss" her out, which to this day I have no idea why she thinks I'm going to suss her out, do you have something to hide nurse Yemi?! Not only that I have a bad experience with these two individuals, but the reception staff are also just as bad. I overheard a conversation between nurse Yemi and the receptionist asking if she could help her as she can't manage her patient to sit still, the response from a male receptionist was to handcuff his leg to a pole or rugby tackle him.... a young child. I have had a small deal with this GP practice and I am in the process of finding another doctor, do yourself a favour and please read the reviews before you join, I wish that I did."
