"The staff were lovely but I had my implant done and I don't think any anaesthetic was applied. Was waiting for a small scratch from the needle to numb the area but got the pain from the implant needle being inserted instead. I'm guessing the area wasn't numbed as it hurt a lot. Everything i've read and watched said the area would be numbed."

"Had the best experience with this clinic. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel at ease. I had the coil fitted and it wasn't nearly as bad as what I read online. It feels like bad period cramps for a few seconds and that's it. Would highly recommend !!!!"

"Great experience from reception lady to the nurse who attended me whose name I believe was Amanda as I had a coil removed. I was nervous and was made to feel very comfortable and the process was unexpectedly painless so can’t be happier overall! I had to wait over 30 min to get through to an operator when I initially booked and now I understand this is due to high demand for contraception services and not so many clinics out there anymore."

"It's been a week since I've had my first copper coil contraception from the Archway Centre and I am so thankful I had it done here. From the moment I came in to complete paperwork at the reception, to the short consultation before the procedure and the procedure itself, it was all so smooth and easy. I felt secure and comfortable and was talked through about the contraception procedure and what was expected. The procedure itself is painful but not for too long and the nurses are very supportive with however it is you like to relieve stress. I personally spoke a lot and the nurses listened to me and helped calm me down. Afterwards, I did say 'I love you for doing this for me' and I could have cried because of how much support I felt in the short time here. Contaception is an education that not many young women have access too and I'm so happy I had the privilege to be accommodated with one that works for me. I also had the option for an STI test which I took shortly after and the nurse there was lovely too. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough so I had to write this long review. I do also want to mention that contraception works different in each body and therefore it won't always be a good experience for some. I am so thankful that it has been for me and would personally like to thank Martha for listening through my ramblings and easing me by responding with reassurance, Nobuntu (Student Nurse) for assiting and the AMAZING Angela for being paitent and getting the procedure done even with my blatant discomfort and rambling!"
