"I had an extremely severe case of left shoulder impingement due to a gym accident while bench pressing, and lifting my elbow past 45 degrees caused serious nerve pain. I’ve decided to visit OneBody after delaying for few months as the injury started to affect my quality of life. Jamie was excellent in treating my shoulder injury. She was very diligent in going through my injury and sporting history, and was also detailed in her diagnosis. The rehab consisted of primarily strengthening my rotator cuff (which was diagnosed as a serious weakness), and doing an in-depth stretching readjustment of the entire left shoulder. The rehab progress has been amazing! The serious nerve impingement has largely subsided. I’m currently able to return back to chest/shoulder pressing related exercises, and was surprised as to how fast I was able to gradually ramp up back to my working weights. This is probably a testament on how the injury has been seriously limiting my performance.
