"This firm was excellent in every way. It picked up at two points without extra charge. It was on time there and back. "Used for a return trip to a festival, initial impressions were fine however on the return journey the driver’s attitude was awful. He asked if everyones shoes were clean and said ‘they better be or i’ll be issuing fines’ and slammed the door before anyone could respond. First off, you have agreed to take us to and from a festival, of course our shoes aren’t going to be sparkling clean. What made me leave a low rating is because of our journey back. We felt very unsafe with the speed the driver was going, at one point he was doing 70 in a 40 and whilst overtaking on a blind bend he said ‘im already half an hour late’. Im sorry but i don’t care how late you are, its your responsibility to make sure your driving safely. I never ever leave reviews but im just gobsmacked at how dangerous the driving was and wanted to make the company aware of this."
"I don’t often write reviews, however we booked an excursion with A1 Express Travel and received a fabulous service from start to finish. We were collected promptly in a nice, clean, fresh minibus by a polite driver, who helped with our baggage and ensured we were all comfortable. The driver (even though it’s his job!) drove us really well, smoothly and with consideration. On collection we were running half an hour late, the driver was there waiting for us and nothing seemed to be too much trouble, once again polite and helpful. Would I recommend this company? Definitely. I’ll not be using anyone else."
"Fantastic, drove us to and from scafell Pike, and it wasn't a short journey.. 4 hours their and back! The driver was incredibly polite and patient as he waited 5 hours for us to climb the mountain before driving us home, he also allowed us to eat and drink on the coach with the small request that we cleaned up after ourselves which of course was no issue, would highly recommend"
