"If you want an accurate diagnosis, Ken Bowman and Son are not your people! Unfortunately this company cost us over £500 and misdiagnosed a fault with my dryer, subsequently admitting in writing that it was not a 100% accurate diagnosis. All that was at fault was the socket/switch which they failed to pick up on. They refunded the call out charge but took no responsibility for the huge costs incurred as a result of them"

"I've used these guys a few times and they are always very professional. This time, I called them on a Monday about a washing machine issue and they couldn't come until Friday, but I made the appointment. In between, I found someone who could come quicker, and they did and sorted the problem, but I forgot to cancel the Bowman fitter. After he turned up, and was sent away, I called them, with my card details for the abortive visit. Today, 3 days later, they have called to say they have decided not to take the payment, as they appreciated my honesty and it wasn't that far a trip. That is customer service. I'll always use them when I can and recommend others do too."
"Perfect from start to finish. We had a problem with our washing machine. Engineer came during the time we were given. He was very polite and friendly. We were told that we need a new part for our washing machine. Couple of days later I have received a text that the spare part has arrived. I have called them and arranged for their engineer to come back today during morning time. He came at my requested time and fitted the part in 10 minutes. I can't thank them enough. Best service, very friendly and very efficient."
"We had a broken dishwasher (everything was dead). We were given a slot the day after we called, and the repairman came right at the start of the slot. He was friendly and polite. He did extensive testing (which took quite a long time), and by process of elimination identified that the control computer was broken. He advised that it would be better value to buy a new dishwasher than to replace the part. And then gave us a discount on the (already reasonable) call out charge. I'm not sure that you can ask for more than that. Quick, friendly, honest,. stress-free and no hard sell. I'll happily use them again if something else goes wrong. Based on our experience, we're very happy to recommend."
