Allspice - Award Winning Indian Takeaway
● Closed“I would have said this place was possibly the best Indian takeaway in Bristol. But as it turns out it is the best in the southwest having won that accolade. All curries I've had here are tasty full of flavour and not too greasy. The chilli is kept under control but still can get a hot one if you like! The breads are also good.”

Maaya of Bath
● Closed“We had delicious Asian tapas as well as a main. Best espresso martini & tequila sunrises we’ve had (plus they are 2 for £10 cocktails all day). Could tell the people working were passionate about what they offered. Definitely will be returning even just for the samosa chaat alone!”
-
The Coconut Tree Bath
● Closed“Went here during a short stay in Bath, and everything was so flavorful, fresh and comforting. The curries were excellent, but I especially loved the kothu roti, the cutlets and the hoppers. Service is top-notch and very friendly. (Our server was so sweet, she even gave us tips on how to get to some hikes near Bath!) Lots of vegetarian, vegan and GF options, too—something for everyone. Highly recommend!”

Cinnamon Indian Keynsham
● Closed“A friend and I went to get a late dinner, when we got there it was very busy but the all of the staff were still so lovely and didn’t let any of the stress affect their customer service. They were really nice and polite and were honest about waiting time, and suggested we get the order delivered instead of having to wait. Really lovely people”

Vellore Restaurant
● Open22 Sydney Road, Bathwick, Bath BA2 6NS, United Kingdom“We stayed at the hotel and had a 3-course dinner with a bottle of wine at the restaurant. We've never dined in such a grand hall, so it was something different to experience. There were only a few other people in there, so it was very quiet more like in a museum. The service was top as well as the food including the presentation.”

The Ruposhi Restaurant Take Away
● Open21 Widcombe Parade, Bath BA2 4LD, United Kingdom“TL;DR: I loved it. Never before have I eaten at a restaurant so in need of a positive review! I suppose they're one of the few places putting their energy into the food instead of juicing the reviews process, which makes me want to support them even more. Dishes were a great variety of flavour— on the spicy side so definitely "size down" to start if you're unsure between two options. Sag paneer was unlike any I've had before, so interesting as well as delicious. Lamb: excellent, Chicken: excellent. Veggie options: excellent. Included free poppadoms: ace. Oh and they don't do that silly sad bag of salad that seems to be a traditional requirement. Hooray for not wasting food! Not sure what that other reviewer was on about, but I'm definitely ordering from here again.”

Soyful's Kitchen
● Closed“Easily the best Indian restaurant we've ever had the pleasure of going to in the UK. Absolutely delicious. Servings aren't huge, but they are delicious. So if you're looking for a flavour sensation, don't miss out on this place. Got to be one of the South Wests best hidden treasures.”
-
Prithvi
● Closed“We came to Prithvi on a recommendation and had the tasting menu for our party of six people. The location (car park opposite a plus in cheltenham) is easy to get to and the setting perfect for a social or business dinner with the right ambience and privacy to do just that. Service is attentive and subtle which just added to a great experience. The quality of the dishes and the perfection of flavours with the various surprises presented to us in-between the courses was just fantastic. A great experience and would highly recommend.”

-
Easton Spice
● Closed“Wow, what a surprise! Didn't know what to expect really, as it was just a little restaurant tacked onto the back of a pub, and it was empty. But certainly never judge a book by it's cover. I had lamb Madras, and it was delicious, nice bit of heat, and absolutely packed with flavour, enjoyed every mouthful. My wife equally enjoyed her lamb Saag, certainly the best Madras I've ever had, and a contender for the tastiest curry, pretty reasonably priced too. We were on holiday, wish it was my local!”
