My turtle would not eat anything else, and when the company closed I was hard put to feed him, BUT he is now a very happy chappie. Please keep stocking it, as when I went back to buy more, most of the products had sold out....the word is out Fish Fuel Forever lol.”

“After having blood and urine samples taken of my little 17 year old cat it was found she was very ill. After talking to Dr Fiona at Manly Road Veterinary my husband and I decided that it would be the kindest option for her to put her to sleep. This was not unexpected as she was very ill. We took her to Dr Kylie at Macleay Island Veterinary to have her put to sleep. Dr Kylie was so gentle with her and stayed and talked with us after allowing us to to tell our dear little cats life story. Dr Kylie was so caring and loving towards us and we shared tears of sadness together. Thank you Kylie, you are doing a very difficult and sad job but with compassion and caring. “Loved this place, sweet little cabins on the waterfront. Cabins were clean and tidy. Koalas were in the trees out the front and dolphins passed by regularly. Jane was accomodating and flexible. I would recommend staying here 100%.”

“All the staff at Baybreeze vet clinic are fantastic and caring humans! My kitten was in for his vaccination and I had to take my poodle kid with me as he has been super clingy and stressed of late. Dr. Natasha not only was accommodating in having a hitch-hiker at my kittens consult, but offered helpful advice about Mr. cling-on in the process. Such unexpected kindness and genuine care blew my socks off. I cannot recommend them highly enough!”

“My partner and I, and our two 12yr old deaf mini foxies, had the very best stay at Licorice Cottage. It is absolutely divine in every way and is the perfect getaway for any time of year. The yard is fully and securely fenced, and there are plenty of interesting areas on the island to explore on foot. There is a wonderful book inside the cottage that details lovely drives and things of interest to see on the island, so we took a photo of the pages on our phones, and set out to discover everything! We were so grateful for these tips and it really made our stay. In fact, Licorice Cottage has lots of lovely unexpected touches that warmed our hearts. We loved it here and you will too.”

“I have to say Koala Park Vetinary Surgery is the best vet I have ever been too. They really take care of your furr babies and go above and beyond. They always have excellent service. I've been going to this vet since they first opened. I now live on the Sunshine Coast and I will always travel to this practice without a doubt for my dog. I have been to plenty of other practices but this is by far the best. So thank you guys for your amazing service!”

“I had an amazing experience here! After years of not diving I came here for a week while traveling around. At arrival was immediately able to join the refresher that was happening the next day. James was absolutely amazing he made me really confident in my skills again above and below the water. Later in the week I was able to join a dive trip with the boat and had an absolute blast. Saw amazing sea life from dolphins to manta rays and sharks. James’ energy was as amazing and expressive underwater as above water, creating a lovely experience. Thank you to all the dive staff who made my stay amazing. In high season you’ll want to book the dives beforehand though since they get booked full pretty quickly. Next to that the hostel is a great place for solo travelers, there are enough friendly people around to chat and have a fun time with. The hostel is clean and has everything you need and more. Highly recommend this place if you want to go somewhere to relax, work on the island, and/or have some great experiences in nature (on land, above the water, and below)!”

“Stayed here twice for a few nights each time. Staff were polite and welcoming. Rooms are clean with comfortable beds and good sized floor space. Nearby walk to a small beach and not far from restaurants and pubs.”

“I am extremely grateful for Donna’s expertise. My 12 year old fur baby, Scully was hobbling on 3 legs with stifle trouble on both hind legs. After surgery on her L hind leg, Scully’s recovery was quite slow until Donna started working her magic in the Canine Cubby hydrotherapy pool. Today, after regular hydrotherapy sessions with Donna, Scully is so much fitter and walking really well despite the arthritis in her R hind leg. She can even trot a little now, but I don’t encourage it. Thank you so much Donna, and thanks to Mel for the occasional Bowen session. I can really recommend Canine Cubby services.”
