“Out of all the Woolies stores across Cairns and the suburbs, it would be the number 1 Woolies store. It is open until late, 7 days per week. The State Government should completely deregulate the business trading hours so it is free to open until midnight Monday to Sunday, if not 24 hours. It appears to have some lines that aren't available in the other stores , however, the only criticism that I have is the in-store bakery is often empty in the evenings. It is very centrally located in the city centre with entries from two streets. Highly Recommended !”

“As part of Cairns Central Shopping Centre redevelopment, Woolworths has opened another store in the city area inside the centre. It's on the ground floor directly below Myers. It's quite a large store and well laid out. I especially love the exotic ranges in the Deli area. The staff have been preparing for the opening for months to be able to present everyone with a new level of friendly service and merchandise. The bakery does some amazing things to provide the customers daily with fresh offerings. Pop in and experience the friendliness, you won't be disappointed.”
