“I was on the hunt for a daycare close to home for my 5 month old son. It was a really hard process trying to choose a centre before I found Redland Bay Early Education Centre. We instantly felt welcomed and it had a really homly atmosphere. My son has now been attending the centre for about a month, and he recognises the nursery staff and always leans in to them for morning cuddles at drop off. They have kept to his routine and schedule which ensures that in the evening his routine isn't effected. Everyone always greets my son and I by name as soon as we walk in and out the centre. Building those strong friendly relationships at such a young age is so important. I would 100% recommend everyone to this centre if they are looking somewhere in the Redlands.”

“All 3 of my children started at Grasshoppers Nippers and have moved through to Grasshoppers- Hoppers... with my oldest child leaving to start school soon. The staff at Hoppers are fantastic. The centre is always of the highest quality and the outdoor area is amazing. They have great facilities and programs in place for the children. The menu is also great, all made by the in-house chef. Highly recommend.”

Amazing teacher who is trying to push them out of their comfort but all with fun and enjoyment. My son finally wanted to straight back to the class and said he only wants Diego to be his teacher lol”

“Amazing place to take the kids or dogs! My kids have endless fun during low tide on the shore either looking for little creatures, playing at the playground or walking to King Island. Lots of shady spots to set up chairs and a picnic mat. There are toilets and showers available nearby.”

“This is the best place close to Brisbane to watch the sunset and full moon rise. Always clean with toilet and playground facilities for kids. Also a very good fishing spot. I have caught very large bream 40cm, cod and other reef fish.”

“This is a delightful location, and quite historic too. Now it is well-preserved picnic spot that the local government has developed into a great place for a family BBQ, surrounded on three sides by Moreton Bay. Highly recommended. At one time, this was part of a major seaport for the developing colony that was to become Brisbane back in the 1800's. There were wharves, warehouses, pubs and all the other services that go along with seaports. Today, it is family-friendly park with children’s playground, shaded picnic areas and toilets – and the historic lighthouse.”

“Stayed here twice for a few nights each time. Staff were polite and welcoming. Rooms are clean with comfortable beds and good sized floor space. Nearby walk to a small beach and not far from restaurants and pubs.”

“This park is a hidden gem. It has shade sail cover and suits little kids. Has a toilet block nice n close. Its perfect for a quick play, toilet stop or to stop and have some food at the large sheltered picnic table area.”

“Fantastic service. Girls at the front desk were very friendly. I had a full body cancer check and the doctor was thorough and friendly. 45 mins approximately for doctor going over my body. Out of pocket expenses was $40 but well worth it.”

“Very beautiful view and place, didn’t really eat a restaurant but the cafe, The food and drink just normal, nothing really special but not bad. but with the good view it just worth it to just set down to chill for a little and enjoy.”

“Target Capalaba has great selections, it's smaller than the other shopping chains however don't be misled by their size. They have great selections that you can only find in their shop. The staff are welcoming and very helpful with a smile. The shop is clean and big enough to comfortably shop. Target also does in store afterpay and zip pay.”

“Had a lovely Sunday lunch here. Really enjoy the "old style" vibe of the pub. Much nicer than the ultra modernised pubs. Sitting out the back by the bay was wonderful. The Sunday arvo music was great. Service was friendly and the meal was good pub style food. Steak was tasty and tender and the seafood plate was enjoyed. Will be back. Would be a good place for families as well, with a playground and grass for kids to run around on.”

“There are three main entrance here: from Wimborne Road Park in Alexandra Hills, Kindred Street in Alexandra Hills and on Redland Bay Rd. I recommend to use the entrance in Wimborne Road Park which you can find by going through the Park. It’s nice, safe and more space to park your car near the park, too. It’s beautiful, almost flat and easy 2.1km circuit in this conservation. You can walk and ride here. Kids also can enjoy it. The path is spacious, beautiful scribbly gum trees and lovely songs from birds. It’s amazing surroundings, nice and bright feel to it. I really enjoy walking here!”

“One of the best daycare i have sent my 1 year old son who has been attending since the day they opened. Little corner treats my son and me like family. They always have wonderful things planned for the day and have amazing educators. I highly recommend i wouldn’t send my son anywhere else.”

“Love the evening walk to kings island when a path appears due to tidal effects. Unique nice spot. Good children park has well. Very busy in holidays, but still plenty to enjoy. BBQ and play area and showers and toilets are there..”
