“Been coming here essentially every day for the past 6 months. Ive not once had a burnt coffee. Ive not once had anything less than the very best customer service. Even their food is amazing. They even have bopple which makes ordering before leaving the house and picking up on the way through so easy and convenient. There isnt anything left to be desired. Matt and the gang have the golden recipe and i look forward to grabbing my coffee every morning from the friendliest, tastiest coffee shop in Brisbane.”

“This is hands down the best cafe to get eggs benny from, and we know we're not the only ones who would agree! The other dish is the Stuffed Mushrooms which was massive, their serving sizes are hearty and fairly priced. Its always a favourite to visit. The staff operate like a well oiled machine, the service is really good and the wait time for food is exactly where you'd like it (especially when your hungry) Id give these guys 10 stars if I could!”

“I've passed this place more than a 100 times now in my commute but never thought much of it from the exterior. Thanks to a sign which said "omelettes" I made a detour to dine in. The inside is small and cosy, and most of all, air conditioned. Most of the patrons that I observed were fleeting regulars or tradies on a quick stop. I'm not a huge fan of merlo coffee in general; the mocha was pretty good though. And I realise this cafe services the neighbourhood for its needs so kudos for it. The menu is value for money and the quality of the food is tasty. The place is dog friendly though only for outside sitting. The owner is very warm and welcoming.”

“Stayed here twice for a few nights each time. Staff were polite and welcoming. Rooms are clean with comfortable beds and good sized floor space. Nearby walk to a small beach and not far from restaurants and pubs.”

“The food at this place was very delicious, we really liked the carbonara. The wagyu steak was so tender and juicy. The salad was good, just the halloumi needed a little less time on the pan. I appreciated the fact that the ambient music was kept at a very low volume. Will go back in future”

“This place has its own vibe (a pleasant one at that). It's one of those tucked away cafes that locals only seem to know about. It's a Gem that if you knew about it, you'd want to keep it to yourself (but don't). The coffee is consistent. no matter who makes it and their food is delightful. The seating area is nicely arranged and there are no issues for wheelchair access. Take time to just chill out or grab a quick bite to eat while on the go. The toilets are clean and well kept for customers. We had a wonderful time and had a nice selection of foods that met our expectation. The quality and presentation was awesome. Pricing was spot on and waiting time was really good. You're met with a smile, and leave with a smile. Highly recommend if and when you are after a good quality breakfast.”

Service above & beyond, incredible accommodation & terrifically accomodating ......... outstanding location LOCATION LOCATION!!!!! FAMILY FRIENDLY............ WHATTTTTT!! YOU HEARD ME !!! so amazing !! right opposite the beach & water park & wading pools !! Brilliant yummy Cafe right on site! How good is THIS!! Coles & woolies just up the street Restaurants abound & this is as good as it gets !!! This is the 2nd stay for us AND WILL NOT B THE LAST!!! Do not hesitate you will regret it!! “YUM! I can definitely recommend the Bengal Curry House. Their Shahi Korma is the most delicious curry I have ever eaten! My 5 year old son told them it was the best meal he had eaten in 10 years hahaha An easy 5 stars from my whole family.”

Recently celebrated a big family event and it was seamless. Easy parking. Pokies are not 'in your face'. The balcony is lovely for a meal. Can't fault this place.”

“I don't know how we haven't heard of this place until now. My husband loves his craft brews and he was like a kid in a candy store. We came for the Sunday Roast - highly recommended, must book. They alternate between beef, lamb and pork. Today's was Pork, omg, so delicious and large servings. They also have a large selection of wine and some cocktails if beers are not your fancy.”

“I had my event here in December and I couldn't be more pleased. The functions manager Andrew looked after me from the very beginning, ensuring I was happy with everything. He is one of the best functions manager I have ever come across, and most of the staff at the hotel were friendly, efficient and helpful. The function room was clean, set up beautifully and had all the features I needed. The food platters were a huge hit and absolutely delicious, and their facilities are clean and modern. I highly recommend this hotel for your next function. Five stars!”
