Water park in Bangor

“Most people tend to walk towards the beach area when they arrive at Crawfordsburn Park but there is so much to see within the country park forest area especially during autumn time. Plenty of paths and walks to suit all ages and fitness levels. And the big bonus is the great Cafe for a well earned cuppa or meal afterwards.”

“Beautiful grassed area beside a sandy beach on Belfast Lough. It's got a children's play area, carpark, a coffee van and ice-cream van. The North Down Coastal Path passes through it. It's the ideal spot for a family day out, not far from Holywood and Marino train station.”

“A piece of paradise, a place worth visiting and adventure. The picturesque nature and the blue sea makes you incapable of expression. You have to walk from the train station in the city to the beach approximately 20 minutes. Long beach and a very nice place for a walk. No problem with dogs. There is also a car park nearby.”

“A great Park for a leisurely walk, a beautiful lake with lots of birds and ducks to watch. Small bird and animal enclosures too. An enclosed Children's playground and a mini golf area as well as bowling greens. Summer months, Music in the Park, great afternoons of great music from Blues to Jazz with lots more in between”

“Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Well equipped gym, good variety of classes offered and most importantly brilliant swimming pool with experienced swimming coaches. Also if you are a parent of a child in swimming classes you are actually welcome to sit and watch yout kids training. 5 stars”

“A great swimming spot for those who like to swim in deep water. Beautiful sheltered, rocky Cove with the legendary Jenny Watts cave, a stone jetty and a disappearing sandy beach.”

“As a person with mobility issues this beach is so accessible + a nice wee evening outing. Just wish there were some food + drinks options other than the Inn + the stables. But the beach itself is clean, the water refreshing + the locals friendly + welcoming”

“A great way to access the coastal path if you get off the train at Bangor West. The glen is a maze of tiny paths leading down to the sea, full of unexpected vistas among a small but beautiful patch of natural woodland.”

“It's a treat to walk on this path. It's clean, it's beautiful, plenty of parking at Seapark and so much to offer. Could do with some dog waste bins perhaps as it's a popular dog walking spot. Such fabulous views of Cave Hill and the Lough.”

“We had a great day at the Pickie Park Pumpkin Patch. It wasn't too crowded when we visited and staff are still sanitising equipment which is reassuring. My little boy loved all of it, from the train to the ducks and log flumes. And of course the Pumpkin Patch itself was a big hit. Looking forward to returning again soon.”

“Best Kung Pao chicken you will get in Bangor but make sure you ask for cashews nuts if you prefer your Kung Pao with nuts as they do not serve any meals with nuts unless specifically asked for. Very clean and proper dining area if you have a date and want to eat in and very good pricing. Highly recommended.”
