Roar and Snore Taronga Zoo
● OpenBradleys Head Road, Mosman NSW 2088, Australia“We had a great time! It is very cool being in the Zoo at night and walking around seeing the animals so active under the red torches. It is also cool to be there before it opens the next day and seeing the Zoo and Zoo animals being prepped for the day. We were very fortunate and got a perfect night weather wise, and our group were very mobile so this allowed us to get around with ease. Canapés, drinks, dinner and breakfast were all great and the Zoo Staff were sensational. The Roar and Snore tents are very comfy. We went in winter and the electric blanket they provide was very much appreciated. You certainly hear the animals and we got a very feisty male lion roaring for his pride throughout the night, but that’s what you want right? We went on a Thursday night when it is cheaper. We certainly thought we got value from our tickets. Highly recommend doing this.”

Taronga Western Plains Zoo
● Closed“The African zoo to see in Australia. Drive, bike or walk to the many different animal exhibits on offer. All tickets purchased give two days of access to the zoo and you'll need it. Walking shoes are a must. We loved every minute. Definitely will come again in the future.”

Taronga Zoo Sydney
● Closed“Well-designed and lovely zoo. The Wildlife Retreat is where we stayed, so getting to the zoo was simple. Amazing displays. Big zoo, but not overpowering like some can be. Cashless. Numerous displays of Australian animals may be located all across the zoo. They have amazing viewing spots that let you get close-up and personal. From Circular Quay, using the ferry and bus is simple.”

Werribee Open Range Zoo
● Closed“Highlight of my trip! Our guide Georgia was so knowledgeable! I purchased the Deluxe Safari and this is well worth it. The general public bus was provided and included in admission, but was a large bus that held about 100 people, including many children (not for me), and because of the size of the bus, it could only stay on the road. Our deluxe safari bus only had 9 people, and we were able to drive off road right to see the animals.. We were just a few metres away from all the giraffes, rhinos, ostriches and zebras. 5 stars for sure!!”

Melbourne Zoo
● Closed“I loved this zoo. The enclosures were big and full of enrichment for the animals. The baby elephants were adorable! The giraffes were another highlight. The paths through the enclosures weren't too packed even on a midday weekend. Some of the animals were sleeping when I went, the lions, snow leopards and red pandas. If you love animals it's a must when you visit Melbourne.”

Zoo Studio
● Closed“As I unwrapped my Christmas gift, I immediately started to cry. It was to be my furbaby Dudley's last Christmas and I had a sleek black envelop in my hands. As an admirer of Zoo Studio's work, I instantly new what I had received. The result... the heart and soul of my gorgeous boy captured as art. The beautiful images captured by Ken, hang on our bedroom wall, a daily reminder that Dudley forever lives in our hearts. It is almost as if I could reach out and touch him once again. I can't thank Beck, Ken and the Zoo Studio team enough for the precious gift they have given us during such a difficult time. I highly recommend Zoo Studio - not just for the beautiful result, but for their passion and compassion for our beloved furkids. Thank you!”

Zoo Fitness Penrith Gym
● Open“The atmosphere of this place is great ..... you get this feeling when you walk in Very nice setting and heap and heaps of spots to train in. They also offer variety of classes including hot yoga The most amazing thing is the child care service the provide which is even open on Saturday morning The only let down is, the gym is on the second floor and I didn't see any lifts, so that can be an issue for disabled and elderly people. I highly recommend this place and hope that you will enjoy it as well (Zoo Fitness Staff, please let me know if there is a lift in your gym so I can update my review... Cheers)”

Australia Zoo
● Closed“Had a wonderful experience with friends , we saw the Croc show , also with the beautiful birds , the Tiger show . The Otters getting fed , “so cute” A cute baby Giraffe running around , patted a Koala , Rhinos, plus many of the amazing animals . And of course the beautiful Asian Elephants, which made my day . The staff are amazing , all extremely helpful, and very informative. So much space for each species , and so clean . I would like to say a special thank you to the lovely staff member who made it possible for me to get another copy of Terri Irwin’s book , “My Steve “ as a replacement for the one I missed placed on the day free of charge . “Overall what an experience “ .”

26-Melbourne Zoo/Royal Park
● OpenParkville VIC 3052, Australia“Must see if you’re in town or even a local! This is my favorite zoo. So much so that I got married here. My wedding ceremony was wonderful back in 2014 thanks to the passionate staff at the zoo. Lots of different animals: elephants, big cats, reptiles and lots of peacocks walking about. In the spring time they have babies walking around too! Very kid friendly. Great for parties as they have different function rooms. You can also use the garden gazebos as well for cheaper kid parties. Money tips: Plan ahead as it’s quite big. A bit crowded on weekends which is expected. Bring your own food since the restaurants and cafes are outrageously expensive. It’s worth getting the membership if you’re likely to visit the other zoos as well.”

Canberra Reptile Zoo
● Closed“Picked up a random leaflet for this and decided to give it a try since we were staying nearby. We were a bit surprised to find it located behind a shopping centre, but this is a real jewel and a great experience for the kids. Our two children couldn't believe how close they got to the animals and how many they got to touch and stroke. The staff were so friendly and informative. This small quirky animal experience to well worth the visit.”
