Council Bluff School, located at 1631 County Road 120 in Valley Head, Alabama, is a historic institution that was built in 1903 near the top of Sand Mountain. The land for the school was donated by community members, and construction was led by Mr. Sam Cordell. In 1924, Council Bluff School joined with other nearby schools to form a new institution at High Point.
