"We would highly recommend working with Homes by Gerbus to any of our friends or family for their great communication and the quality build. If we had to build a house again, Alan would be our first call. Before building our own home, we watched Homes by Gerbus build a house on our street in 2019. We were impressed to see activity at the construction site every day and the job site remained tidy & clean, the on-site manager introduced himself to all of the neighbors, shared his contact information and pledged to minimize disruption on the street—which he did. In 2021, we acquired a lot in Madeira and took our time interviewing builders and working thru budget scenarios to determine who we should use to build our new home. Every interaction we had with Homes by Gerbus was a positive one. Alan answered the phone immediately and invited us to come to his office to walk us thru their process— he was interested to hear what we were looking for and gave genuine feedback based on his extensive experience. Even before we committed, Alan took a lot of time to understand how we wanted our home to look, feel, and operate so he could make sure materials prices and availability would meet expectations, without surprise expenses later on. From signing the contract with Homes by Gerbus to the final walk thru, Alan was extremely honest about timelines, budget, finish choices, bouncing ideas off one another and managing expectations. He communicated when and why each step was happening. Once the team broke ground, we worked with our job superintendent, Nate, who was on site every day to ensure the project was moving along as planned. There are always problems that come up with a build, but the Gerbus team always communicated immediately & worked with us and the subs for the right solutions. Homes by Gerbus is a custom homebuilder and no part of our design or finish work was outside their experience or ability. We have been living in our house for nearly a year now and can truly say that our experience with Homes by Gerbus was excellent."

"We recently completed the construction of a stunning home in Mason, Ohio, in collaboration with Homes by Gerbus. The entire experience was incredibly positive and seamless, from the initial architectural design to the final stages of construction. When we first met Alan Gerbus in late 2022 at the potential lot, we were immediately impressed by his expertise in building custom homes. During our initial conversation, Alan guided us through the entire construction process, addressing all of our questions and concerns. "I first reached out to Alan Gerbus on December 2nd, 2021. As of tomorrow, we have been in our new home for 8 weeks. Alan was one of of the many builders I contacted. Over the past two years he and his employees have helped us find a lot, design and build our home. There have been ups and downs, but the one constant was the fact that Gerbus cares about their clients, and about building amazing homes. Every single step of the way we were treated like we were valued. Whenever anything unexpected came up, there was Alan with a smile and an answer. Gerbus always took the high road, and did what was right. After 2 years of this crazy process I would gladly go through it all again - but only with Gerbus. But how to be sure yourself? Simple - ask any subcontractor that works with them. They will have nothing but praise because they are treated right by Gerbus. Gerbus is respected - and that is the ideal situation if you want a well built home. I would love to balance this review by listing negatives, but honestly I've yet to find them. Yes, not every contractor was a good choice (especially those I hired against the advice of Gerbus) but Gerbus made it right every single time. We now consider these people friends of the family. The entire team (specifically Alan, Nate, Nick, Phil, Shelley and more!) has our thanks, and an open invitation to dinner!"
