"Terrible service. Took them over a month to get my weed eater fixed and then was charged for work that did not need to be done. They don't return calls and the staff is very rude and not helpful at all."

"Bought a cub cadet zt142 from here. No complaints at all. After delivery, I noticed there was a small scratch, the dealer agreed to pick up the mower and patch it up!. I also bout the mulch kit and an arm reset before delivery, they installed both items before I received the mower. Highly recommend this dealer. Update 08/12/24: Still happy!"

"1 star is being conservative. Found this place via google so hoping to help anyone else searching for a place for service. Brought our Generac power washer in for service as it never really ran correctly from the get go & this place is a Generac authorized service repair center. Dropped off our power washer on May 29th 2024 & was told because it was peak mowing season that it could take a month to fix but would get a call in a week with an update as to what the issue was & cost. (Never happened). After repeated calls weeks later we found out it needed a new carburetor which we agreed to. 3 weeks later we finally got a text message today(7/19/24) that it was completed. We went today to pick it up & while paying I asked “how is it running?” The guy ringing me out said “I’m not sure, let me see if the guy who worked on it is here” after a few minutes he came back out with another guy who could NOT have been anymore rude. Talked down to me like I was a child & when I told him that I didn’t appreciate how he was speaking to me he bantered on about how he’s tired of people complaining to him all the time & how hard it was to work there. The guy who rang me up apologized repeatedly because he knew how unprofessional this guy was. I asked him to speak to a manager who he said was “Gary but he is out on a mowing test”. To say I was disappointed about my overall experience is an understatement. I guess if your a business who is used to this type of treatment then maybe this is acceptable but as a general consumer this is not the place you wanna go to for service."

"Update: Received a phone call from the owner this morning and the fact that he even thought to reach out is huge. I was impressed by his willingness to make the situation right and understand where we were coming from in just wanting to be talked to in a respectful manor. After a long phone call owner to owner I can definitely say that they’ve regained my trust and I would recommend them to any commercial providers in the area. I made sure to let him know that I was impressed with the service itself but the client/employee interaction ruined that. He assured me this situation would not be a persistent one and that he takes his investment very seriously as all owners should. As an owner I understand that people are the hardest part about any business. Calling us to discuss the situation was a true class act from an owner that you can tell cares about his business and clients. Original Review: I normally wouldn’t drive all the way to West Chester for service or parts however with the closing of a large West side Wright/Ferris dealer we saw no choice. No one greeted us when we brought one of our commercial mowers in for service. There were 3 employees walking around and 1 waiting on customers. It was definitely not an inviting experience for drop off. Upon dropping it off we informed them of the problem, that it had been diagnosed, and what needed replaced. We were told we would be updated when the unit was looked at and were not called once after the unit was dropped off. We had to make phone contact for any updates. We were told that once the mechanic looked at it we would be called and were not. When the repair was finalized we only received a text msg stating it was ready, again, bo phone call. Upon arriving to pick up we were rudely told that we should have called if we were going to pick it up after 4 because everything’s been put away. If you would like customers to call for after 4 pickups, that should probably be communicated to the customer, either during the drop off procedures or the text msg that says your open M-F from 8-6. Was told the mower would be brought out to us, thinking that it would be, but instead it was left by the front door for us to walk back and get. Upon hoping on we were rudely told that “it’s aggregating when customers don’t leave a key”. There’s two issues with this. 1. If you would like customers to leave you a key, again that should be communicated. No one during drop off asked us for a key. 2. That’s not something you should be telling a customer if you’d like to keep them. He stated that most people leave their keys in I agreed and responded that we do not and that no one asked for one. He then wanted to prove his point that anyone with a mower key can steal a mower. While true we make every effort to slow anyone down from attempting to steal equipment off sites or vehicles. I would think being a dealer there is plenty of keys around. Overall this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a green industry dealer in my 19 years in the industry. I can’t see bringing our equipment in or making equipment purchase there after this experience. The only good part about this experience was their service time. 9 business days during the busiest part of mowing season I thought was pretty reasonable even though there were no updates along the way."

"Poor quality and worse integrity. My mother-in-law purchased a Cub Cadet XT1-LT42 riding mower from Al-Joe's. After the first year of having this mower and another serviced by them for ~$500 she opted to not have them service it again. I offered and asked for the model. She sent the photo attached to this review of the sales invoice from Al-Joe's where they wrote the model number on it. After confirming with Cub Cadet's website what the appropriate oil filter was I ordered one and when I received it I changed the oil. After about a month of mowing the engine locked up. The steering arm had been contacting the oil filter and severely damaged it leaking all the oil out. She sent the mower to Al-Joe's and Mike at the Hamilton location said she had been hitting the filter with a hammer and there was nothing they could do. I contacted Cub Cadet directly. They said that filter was the correct one for that model of mower. I was then transferred to MTD and they also claimed that damage wasn't possible. After further conversation they asked for the serial number of the mower. When provided they said that model number was the wrong one. That model number was for a Kohler engine not the intellipower engine and that filter was the wrong one for that model. When I contacted Al-Joe's West Chester location Jerry claimed he could help when I asked for a manager. After telling him what was going on he said he would have someone call me back. That someone was Mike at the Hamilton office. After giving me the run around about if she (my mother-in-law) would have checked the oil or if I had verified the model number or if I had verified clearance then this wouldn't have happened. I agreed but stated that if they had provided the correct model number it would have never happened in the first place. In the end Mike claimed they bare absolutely no responsibility for what happened. Didn't matter they gave the wrong information they have no responsibility. Update after owner response. Nobody beat this filter with anything. Further shows the lack of credibility of Al-Joe's. They have accused us of beating on it. Why in the world would anyone intentionally beat on an oil filter. And to clarify... Cub Cadet (more specifically MTD) agreed that the arm had hit the filter because it was the wrong filter. This filter only fits the Kohler engine which is the model number on the sales invoice by Al-Joe's. The engine on this unit is not a Kohler and why the filter was too long. The reason the dents are all around the outside of the filter are because as the arm contacts it during a turn it also pulls/pushes the filter twisting it around. So each time it contacts it can be in a different spot. Calling customers liars and failing to admit when a mistake was made is poor business practice. Cub Cadet said it wasn't a warrantable repair because the dealer (Al-Joe's) made the mistake not Cub Cadet."
