Homestead II

"I currently have both of my parents at Homestead II. One is a resident for long term care and the other is their for rehab. The care they are both getting is fantastic. The staff is awesome and keep you updated on thier condition, any issues that may come up. They give you regular progress as well."

"I had to find a rehab center that our insurance company would cover her stay. I had to choose from 10 centers in the area, and finally found a dimond in the rough. After going to 4 rehab centers in the last year where they treated her as if she didn't exist. The food is good. The staff treat her as she is a part of the family. Who wouldn't want that for your loved one. They also have 2 aids and a nurse on staff 24/7. You know when you go to a center and you smell urine. Here it smells clean and they have an air purifying system. They clean her room at least once a day. Don't pass up on this gem if you really want great care for your loved ones."

"I am currently at Homestead ll for rehab following a fall resulting in a broken hip and broken femur. I am so impressed with this facility. The care given to all patients is phenomenal. I see so much respect given to the long term patients too. PT and OT therapists are top notch. I would definitely recommend Homestead ll to anyone seeking either short term or long term care."

"My mother was at this facility for a couple of weeks and I felt that all the caregivers were very thoughtful and kind. They do need to do some updates and I believe that they should limit the residents to no more than two to a room."

"My dad is recovering from pneumonia and has been at Homestead II for about a week doing PT until he is strong enough to go home. Homestead is an older building and nothing fancy at first glance, but don't discount it as an option for treatment. From the moment we arrived, I have been impressed with the care and patience of the staff. They are attentive, they listen, they are compassionate and they are skilled. The ratio of staff to residents seems effective and we were always able to get assistance and questions answered when needed. Additionally, the food is quite tasty and is prepared with care. I would recommend this facility when searching for care options again. Thank you!"
