"My father was hospitalized at TriPoint for a week after having the same back surgery to fix loose screws and a bent rod from the first surgery a year ago. My father has an extensive medical history including CHF, Kidney disease, and lung cancer. He was not given a low sodium diet even after bringing it to the Nurse Practitioner’s attention. They were not attentive to his other medical conditions only focusing on his back. His cardiologist and nephrologist also were not consulted. They did not read his chart which is extensive as they would have known what his other medical conditions were. He lost two days of recovery and physical therapy time due to being disoriented due to the morphine and Benadryl he was receiving. They wanted to discharge him home without being able to walk or get up any steps. They did not discuss the discharge plan with us and told him he was going home. His insurance company denied his placement at a rehab facility and instead of appealing that decision their plan again was to just send him home. We had to ask for the appeal and were told that the surgeon and medical doctor would be handling the appeal, to only find out it was only the medical doctor. The surgeon called my Dad’s wife and yelled at her over the phone after she had objected to him going home. There were many lies told to us if we were told anything at all. I also contacted the patient advocate at the hospital and at first took my concerns seriously but then I did not hear from this person at all even after leaving two messages and requesting an in person meeting. I do NOT recommend this facility to anyone unless you want to stay 24 hours per day and can monitor and question everything."

"Was told they had a shuttle service to get me home. It is now 6 hours later. It is 2 in the morning and I am in pain, hungry, thirsty, and extremely frustrated. Do not trust this ride service. It is now 5 am and I am still here. It was over 9 hours it took them to give someone a 10 min ride home. The staff was OK. I blame management and corporate. Will do my utmost to avoid this hospital and you should to........ So they asked me to call their # . I did . All machines and then leave a message. So, I tell you all U.H. is all about $ . do not go to any of them they, do not care. Corporate and management will not help you. They will only give you lip service. Trust me tri-point is called die-point for a reason."

"I went to the ER at UH TriPoint on Thursday morning, January 25. I had serious right sided lung or chest pain that I thought might be due to pulmonary embolism. I don't think I could have had better care. From the receptionist at the front desk when I arrived to when I left, everyone was polite, helpful, friendly and serious about their jobs. The triage nurse, the IV catheter nurse, Savannah, my main nurse, Diane in radiology, ECG specialist Mark and Dr Forcada. Thank-you to all of you for being so thorough, so caring and so professional. Thank God I didn't have a PE and I didn't require a hospital stay. Also, I appreciate the MyChart application they use for records - easy to access my entire medical record."

"Fabulous Care Team!!! My Dad's care team has been amazing. I wish I had written down everyone's name so I could nominate them all for recognition. His night nurse Chris was so skilled not only in caring for Dad's physical needs, but also his high emotional needs during probably the most stressful experience of his long life. Chris went above and beyond to make Dad comfortable, and when Dad got very upset, Chris was expert in riding out the storm and then calming things down and bringing a much needed feeling of peace. We mentioned to the nursing manager how much we loved Chris, and we were so relieved the next night when Chris arrived for a second night with Dad. Once he got there, we knew we could go to the hotel and rest knowing Dad was in good hands. Hans, Kelly, and Allison were amazing nurses As well. Kristin P. Is an angel in a lab coat. The nurses aides were so compassionate and jumped in to help whoever needed it. ALL of his nurses, aides, PT, OT, palliative care, doctors, and the support people from housekeeping and nutrition were wonderful. He told everyone who would listen he hated the food, but he was on a restricted diet and there wasn't much he was allowed to eat, so there really wasn't much they could do about that. Last but certainly not least, TriPoint has the BEST IV specialist in NE Ohio. Dad's veins were beyond challenging, so they knew they needed a specialist. I didn't write her name but I'll find out and edit my review once I do. The room was large, clean, and spacious. The parking was accessible friendly.Dad's surgeon, Dr. Anthony brought him back to the room himself, got him settled, then explained to the family what had happened. Dad was so pleased with his care here. Top notch."

"We just have had our very first baby at this hospital. They have a beautiful birthing center. We were referred by Dr. Crockett. We can’t thank enough to all the hospital staffs. Especially all the nurses and #DrCrockett. Loved the room which has huge space. Again, we’re so very grateful to all the people who cared for us. Strongly recommend this location especially for birthing."
