"This was one of the most painful massages I have ever experienced. I've had deep tissue massages in the past and this was supposed to be medium and it was painful and beyond deep throughout The gentleman I had I think is very well experienced and I imagine for some people this would have been perfect. When I arrived the person that greeted me was very friendly I was so excited. What I think happened was a lack of communication. Before I entered the room for the massage the person who greeted me and I discussed what I needed. I clearly said I just wanted my back my neck my head and my face worked on. She also said they didn't work on the front of your body. Well none of this was the case. The masseuse worked on all the areas as discussed but then worked on my legs and hips, which was very painful. I couldn't communicate this to him because he couldn't understand me. I thought okay well this is painful but I'll feel so much better tomorrow, which I'm still hoping for. So that was the first communication breakdown and then he asked me to flip over. At that point I decided I was done, I was frustrated and in pain and I got dressed and went out to the person who greeted me. I shared a bit of my experience and she said well was a full body massage that you signed up for and I thought we discussed this before I even went in to get the massage. I was a bit baffled. I cried on the way home because I needed this so bad and I left in pain and very frustrated. I do think they're probably good at what they do, but I think the miscommunication in my case turned out to be the biggest problem. In retrospect I should have just said I wanted a regular massage I just assumed medium pressure would be fine because I've had deep tissue before and it didn't hurt as much as this did. I would love to say I'd go back but I'm not sure because I couldn't communicate what was hurting or what I needed to my practitioner. Hopefully tomorrow I will feel better."

Paid more seeing them for 15 minutes than I did here for over an hour. I found the price to be extremely affordable especially in this economy. The space was very clean and welcoming. The treatment room was cozy and comfortable - no frills, and that’s fine with me, because the massage was incredible. Billy was very sweet, and his deep tissue work was absolutely unreal. I haven’t felt this good after a massage in many, many years. I signed up for the membership and booked my next appointment before I left. What a gem of a place!"
